Watney, a botanist and mechanical mastermind, has the skill set needed to survive on the treacherous planet, but for how long?

Why I preferred the book well to start with it gives lots of details instead of the movie. It does actually mean a lot if I like a book because I tend to be very picky about what I read. the book plot, story, theme, everything was so well done and thought out that once you start reading it, it is hard to put it down and stop reading. Reason why it is so hard to stop reading it well every chapter pretty much end with a cliffhanger. Great books like this one are very hard to come by.…

Both the book and the movie are amazing and recommended, however the book outranks the movie in the those ways. The book contains considerably more details than the book, which makes reading it much more interesting and relatable. There is more emotion and fewer gaps in the plot, because every aspect is discussed in considerable detail in the book. As with all movies, you cannot hear the character’s thoughts, so you are unable to earn a deep understanding of the character. These way make the book much more entertaining to the reader than the…

I think the book and the movie is a confusing story, first you would do anything in the world for your friend and suddently you kill him? I think the message in this movie/book are wired. I like the book better then the movie, I think it explains better the story then the movie. The end I think is crazy, it just suddently ends, and i think the movie has a better ending then the book has because there you can see what happens a little bit better but still, I think the whole ending is…

The reason I would read the book is, that I think it goes it to more depth than the movie and it explains it much better. The human race should improve upon itself before making contact with another race. The human race is too arrogant by believing they are the best race and belittling other races. In the story a martian odyssey (Stanley Weinbaum) there is not a lot to prove my thesis but there is some at the start of the story when our protagonist he thinks tweel is not an intelligent creature but is quickly proven wrong when he tries to communicate with him he quickly picks up the words to have a very basic conversation using the numbers and basics words like bad, rock, (see page five for more information.) Jarvis also found out tweel people use telescopes because he placed the moon on the third planet not the second planet.…
