Throughout The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, by Mark Twain, you will notice the recurring theme of Tom, growing up and maturing in his actions, responsibilities, thoughts, and words. This year I have matured by improving my time management skills and balancing extracurricular activities and homework, making sure I stayed on top of my priorities. Consistently, I am busy, so knowing what I have to do when I have to do it is important to me. As the school year went on, I learned how beneficial it is to master these skills early on. By improving my time management skills, I have also developed crucial study skills to help prepare for tests.
