Change the way you look at things to change the things you look at. Humor offers different emotions. As we grow, we experience different emotions from which we have our own perspective. As a result, we fail to understand various jokes. Even though we laugh at any jokes, we often don’t understand it and have no clue about the person’s point of view. We have laughter in our lips, but deep down we ponder over what is the reason behind the joke. Everything in this world has a meaning behind it and jokes also comes from tragic events too. Jokes are survival mechanisms, a way of reducing stress by laughing, for which many of us have survived many grievous situations. To understand humor, we must comprehend the other person’s point of view. Life offers us both happiness and woe, but it is up to us to add humor to it or not. …show more content…
For example, my sister thinks that a little humor in every situation is acceptable, but I never agree with her owing the fact that every situation comes with its own emotions. However, everyone will not agree as they have their own mindset. There is no problem with having your own mindset, but we should have the mentality to understand others as it will help us handle many circumstances. One with a serious attitude might not prefer humor, although it’s important at certain times. It’s exceptional to have serious attitude, but you should also have the ability to switch your attitude as it’s needed in particular situations. Comedians would suggest humor in every situation, admitting that it’s not always necessary. Even though we have our own preference about humor, at the end it helps us survive.
