Mark Twain Accomplishments

Mark Twain was a brilliant author liked and loved by many people. It did many great thing and wrote many great stories. He had many achievements and succeded through all of the good and bad. Mark Twain’s stories will be noticed and remembered forever. This is how it all happened. Mark Twain’s parents were Marshall and Jane clemens (Aller 7). He was born in Florida, Missouri on November 30, 1835. Mark was born two months early (Aller 9). Mark had four siblings in 1835 Orion, Pamela,Margrete, and Benjamin (Aller 9). Mark Twain never really finished school, he instead became a apprenticed to a printer at the age of twelve (“Mark, Twain” 1). A fun fact about Mark, his name was really Sam Clemens (Aller 4-5).Mark had sketched some through out his childhood,but had never done anything with it. In some of his younger years, had had many jobs. He was a pilot for many things. He jumped around jobs for a while. Then he started writing one of his best books, The Gilded Age(Twain,Mark 2). After that he write many more books, some of them are, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (“Twain,Mark” 2) . Around 1867, Mark fell in love with a girl named Oliva. In his earlier days Mark received many awards, even one from Oxford University in 1907 (Aller 98). Mark was friends with many people, his nickname even came from some of his friends. It was a refrence to his boat days meaning “ as the depth of the water” (“Mark Twain” 1”). Mark Twain died on April 21, 1910 (“Twain, Mark” 1). In the end, Mark was brilliant. He worked for everything he had until he could not do no more. He had many achievements and many amazing stories and books that will last until the end of time. He had many proud moments and many not so amazing moments, but it was all worth it in his end
