Uber hires NASA engineer, Mark Moore, hoping that he would be able to develop flying cars. Mark Moore works in NASA’s Langley Research Center, where he writes white paper outlines for electric aircrafts. Uber is trying to make an aircraft called the Uber Elevate. The Uber Elevate is supposed to be capable of transporting civilians from one place to another. Google has also started working on their own types of aircraft transportation. The Kitty Hawk and Zee Aero (two of Google’s secretly funded startups) are in a competition against the Uber Elevate but are not in such a strong position. Though the two companies both have great ideas and start offs towards our future flyers of the sky, the money invested into these projects can result in bankruptcy
