Education is very important, all students need to study if it's either for a test or quiz. Also, education is a major problem that needs to be solved. In this Draft, I will be explaining how the authors think education is very serious and how we can do it.
There are some parents that don't want you to go to college because they probably don’t have money to pay for your education. Mark Mathabane didn’t like school and he never wanted to go at first but when he got used to going, he promised his mom that he will stay in school forever. In Mark Mathabane article “Kaffir Boy” claims, “He says he doesn’t have money to waste paying for you to get what he calls a useless white man’s education”(pg.8). What Mathabane is trying to tell us here is that his dad doesn’t want him to go to school because he doesn’t have money to pay for his education. In the article “Learning to read” by Malcolm X, Malcolm talks about how reading is very important. For example, Malcolm claims, “I’d never realized so many words existed! I didn’t know which words I needed to learn. Finally, just to start some kind of action, I began copying.”(pg.2). Malcolm X talks about hundreds of book that “fill in the details of black history”. Malcolm was shocked when he began reading about slavery’s total horror.
