Mark In Greek Mythology

My hero is named Mark. He is a 22 year old male that is a mortal. He looks exactly like the God Of War, Ares; muscular, tall and handsome. However, there is a secret that only Ares know that explains the reason why The mortal Mark and him look identical. The secret is that they are twins. When Ares and Mark were born one of the towns was weaker than the other. In a tradition, when two twins are born the weaker one is sacrificed. Mark was sacrificed to Ares. After his sacrifice to his brother Ares, his father took the soul of Mark and placed it in a lily pad. This lily pad was gold and glowed. Just like the God Ares when Mark was born there was a swarm of singing birds. And the sky lit up with colorful pastel colors. Mark was born in a mortal …show more content…
To test the powers of the mortal he send the mortal to receive thunderbolts. Mortals had all assumed that this Mortal will not survive like it said in this stories that were written. The result of challenge that a Mortal would never survived And only gods can was forever changed. Mark changed the faith of the mortals in this obstacle and for the God Zeus he was amazed of the result. The god Zeus then announced that Mark is to be acknowledged as a god. This challenge was also a mark of adulthood for god's. Surviving thunder bolts sent but other gods and Zeus himself. The childhood of Mark was like a dream. He was very popular among her peers. He was treated with a lot of respect and was seen as a prince. Even though he has a luxurious childhood, he was never able to seen the world. His parents raised him just like the way Ares was raised by constantly going to schools and staying in the house studying. one thing Mark enjoyed doing was copying scripts of stories and memorized them. Because he looked like the God of War, his fellow peers will pressure him into getting in brawls and fist fights. To overcome these struggles he always went to a tree that was at the bank of a nearby river. His only friend was a boy named Jackson was about a year older than he was. The accomplishments of Mark was astonishing and were hope for mortals to be able to accomplish great task like he did. The story of Mark continues there is still no end yet for this mortal
