When I noticed how he talked and how he communicated with people throughout the book I knew that he was autistic. I have also just like Haddon communicated with autistic people and I know how they speak that is why I was able to pick it up so quickly. Haddon also seemed like he set out for his readers to notice that autistic people (other than their interactions with people) are just like any other kid. In the book Christopher was an extremely intelligent guy. He was an excellent student and he was on the highest levels in his school when it came to education. In my opinion I think that he accomplished his goals in this book, but only to people who understand autistic people. Haddon truly took me into a mind of a normal kid that just trying to get pass a mental wall and the wall is autism. I felt like I was actually Christopher when I was reading that’s how much I got into the book. To the people who do not know, Haddon truly did educate them on autism. I think he did it more at the end of the book than anywhere else. I would recommend this book to everyone should read this book. It will teach you a valuable lesson about life and how to treat people going through certain conditions. It will help you realize that it is not the person's fault that he or she was born with that condition, they just could not help it. This book was a great choice for Palumbo summer reading and I think more schools should know about this
