Mark Bradford is very humorous and funny, almost comedian-like. Bradford takes posters from the ghetto, décollage & collages them, then sands them down. Some examples of posters he picks say, "Immigration in papers in thirty days" and "Indian Hair Weave". He uses repetition. In one of his projects he uses "perm end papers" because he used to work in his mother's hair salon and uses "musical fragments". In another map-like project he made up stories using his imagination about who lived at an address. Another project is about soccer ball made up of all paper, where it was his first time putting sculptures and paintings near each other. He likes modernization and abstraction. He also makes installations.
