In Brutus speech that was given that day of the funeral he talks about that goods things that will start to happen now that Caesar has died. Antony's speech was more personal than it was when Brutus was speaking. Antony's opening to his speech was more approchable than it was when Brutus had open. He starts off with "I come here to bury Caesar, not to praise him." Although he starts off with that Antony does nothing but praise him. He than says, "I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke, but here I am to speak what I do know." What Antony does know is that was Brutus has done was nothing more than to make sure that Caesar does not get the crown and named King of Rome. Antony kept repeating that Brutus was an "ambitious" meaning that he was contradicting what Brutus had just said.
Boh of these speeches were very pursuasive but Antony's speech was more approchable to what he was trying to get at, and was more persuasive to what he wanted the audience to know about why Caesar died. Mark Antony's speech was more persuasive because he made points to contrast what Brutus said in his speech about Caesar. He said Brutus was wrong for what he did. Brutus also had said "would you rather Caesar was living and die all slaves.." which was countered by Antony.
