Four years later she finished the 5th and final book in the Lunar series. This series was a hit and gained her her mass amounts of notoriety as a newbie in the novelist community. Marisa's writing style in the lunar series is very unique, being a sci-fi based fairy tale stories. The themes in her Lunar series also follow an underdog trend, where the protagonists rise up to resolve the plot. This writing style isn't new, but she has managed to add her own twist into making it unique. After her Lunar series was over Marissa has not been able to make the splash she initially created but is still at it making new novels.
