Mario Jones: New Tricks Of Criminals

You need to be careful out there as there is a new trick that thieves are using in gas stations in order to steal from you. It all began when a group of criminals noticed a man at a South Fulton County gas station out in Georgia. They decided to try to steal from the man that was putting gas into his vehicle. The criminals were in a Lexus minivan and decided to use their trick. Their trick was to distract the man by throwing a handbag out the car, that way while he's distracted they can steal from him. This has put some fear into the eyes of many because a police officer by the name of Sgt. Mario Jones believes that this could become a new trend and could lead to other thieves using this method or using similar methods and tricks like these criminals did. …show more content…
While the victim went inside the store, one of the criminals took action by immediately going into the victim’s car and stealing a wallet and a iphone from the victim’s car. When the police viewed the surveillance video they saw the 54 year old victim taking the handbag into the store and on top of that they noticed two things about the criminals. The police noticed that the Lexus minivan was a stolen vehicle and they also believe that the handbag that the criminals have thrown to distract the victim was stolen the same just an before this had happened. This now worries Harold Byrd because the wallet that was stolen from the victim had their address on it. Now he feels unsafe and feels that he will not rest easy until the criminals are
