Marine Officer Vs Patrol Officer

I chose the job of a marine officer/ patrol officer of Keego Harbor, MI since I enjoy the water and boating, and planning to have a career in the law enforcement field. A marine officer, would patrol the bodies of water, mostly the larger ones, and, in many cases, would consist of switching from marine to patrol officer, depending on the weather and the season. The requirements of the position would be very similar to that of a patrol officer, but slightly different, and, in a way, more advanced, (i.e. marine officers should be better swimmers, more experienced than the average patrol officer due to the different tactics used), and so most people who want this position should plan farther into the future, and train with more advanced tactics. …show more content…

As for my interpersonal-public relation skills, I do tend to be a little shy, but once I begin to be more comfortable with my surroundings, I open up more. The degree is necessary because you need to know the laws and regulations better, since you would be scrutinized and more recognizable in Keego Harbor, since it is a smaller area with a smaller
