The Secrets of Self-Improvement People go after their own ways to find better habits for the future; As a result, their thoughts still have their own ways and feel it is going to be hard to change. Therefore, it is completely normal to everybody because they think and feel needed to be change until getting to a certain point. For example, a person made a new year’s resolution to lose weight but gives up for a week or maybe short time due to the old habit are used to. Society, nowadays, has a harder time to change actions to fix their thoughts than the other way around. Marina Krakovsky made a point that it is better to “start small with short term… to build your confidence”. Which it can change the way you think and finding their own decisions. Using this technique helped me get through my financial problems. I used to work at Rue21, didn’t care if I own anything or not spending it for important items. A year ago, I bought a whole lot of clothes and shoes just for fun. Of course it sounds silly doing it, but I know it is not an excuse because I chose to spend my money for unnecessary items. I get paid eight dollars an hour as sales associates and every time I looked at my account ad saw only less than twenty dollars left over. Making a new habit is not easy to deal with money, especially working at your favorite store. In other words my mind was telling me “do not spend any item you see, but it can be a dollar or a 3 dollar item I can deal with”. I did not realize I needed to save money, because I realized I needed to earn, for my college books. Getting books for college was worth spending money to collect knowledge, than spending the total amount of clothes with the same amount to college
