Marina Abramović: The Artist is Present was a retrospective celebrating the four-decade-long career of Marina Abramović. It took place at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City from March 14th to May 31st, 2010, and it consisted of fifty works of hers, including sound pieces, video works, installations, photographs, and live re-performances by young artists, dancers, and performers. Her work and reperformances were located on the sixth floor of the museum, and was organized chronologically, accompanied by an illustrated catalog with audio recordings of Marina walking the reader through the works.
