, Marilyn Vega, recently received a ticket from the city of Chicago for a red-light violation on December 11, 2016. Attached, I have submitted two forms of proof that the weather conditions on that day were less then favorable thus affecting the roads as well. The image taken by the red-light camera clearly displays the poor driving conditions experienced that day. As I attempted to stop prior to the intersection, my vehicle hit a patch of ice and proceeded into the intersection despite my best efforts to stop the vehicle. In the interest of both my personal safety and the safety of other drivers, it was out of necessity that I proceeded through the intersection cautiously.
