Marilyn Monroe The late Norma Jean Mortenson Baker, more commonly known as Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, California. She overcame a lonesome childhood without a family and became one of the world’s most famous sex idols. She lived a very adventurous lifestyle, which resulted in her mysterious death at the young age of thirty-six. According to the article of notable biographies Monroe’s childhood relationship with her mother was loveless. In 1933, Monroe’s mother was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenic. This resulted her being in Los Angeles Orphans’ Home Society and many foster homes for almost fifth teen years. Due to being placed around in several foster homes her education was far behind than what was expected in her grade level. Due to being married at a young age of sixteen, she was forced to drop out of high school and that lack her knowledge of life. The notable biography source states that Monroe’s husband left for World War II and she got a job at the Radio Plane Company in Van Nuys, California.
