Marilyn Monroe Monologue

Hi, I’m Marilyn Monroe. I have the ‘dream life’, I’m a famous model and wealthy yet I’m slowly dying inside. All I do is smile for pretty pictures and put on a show for everyone. I married Jimmy Dougherty when I was 16 because it got me out of all the foster homes. I worked in a factory store and got discovered by a photographer. I changed my name from Norma to Marilyn in order to prepare for acting. My modelling and acting career were taking off and I didn’t want to be in a relationship. He was slowing me down and I wasn’t going to let him get in the way of my career. We
