Marilyn Monroe Accomplishments

Most might see her amazing looks and good acting as the biggest part of Marilyn Monroe, but as you look deeper you might see a very troubled girl who could kill herself by overdose. She had a lot of other stuff going on other than just looking good and acting pretty and dumb, she had some very bad troubles that could have eventually led to a tragic death for everyone. Marilyn Monroe was a very iconic and some could say important person to society that led a young difficult life, had a famed career, and eventually would die by overdose. Her life as a child was nothing but what we would call terrible. She was born June 1, 1926. Not much later though she would be getting abused. Her mom was not mentally stable and was in and out of mental institutions. Marilyn then was taken care of by a family friend for a few years but when they decided to move they left her there and that is when it started to get cloudy. She was in and out of foster homes getting assaulted and abused everywhere she went. Then at the age of only 11 she was sexually assaulted. She did go through high school …show more content…
She died on August 5, 1962, at 36 years old which is very young. It was at her home in Los Angeles, California. She was found dead with an empty bottle of sleeping pills next to her bed which was determined her cause of death. This was one of the most tragic deaths at that time because she was only 26 years of age and shocked the world. The thing that really shocked them was at the time of her death, she was thought to be in a relationship with John F. Kennedy and/or his brother. With a life like hers also comes with a big legacy. At her time and even today she is viewed as an amazing actress and beautiful woman but got into some trouble and ended up dying. Ask people and they still remember her today and that is maybe just what she wanted. So as you can tell a famed career can come with an even more tragic death
