 Marijuana Should Not Be Legalized
 Marijuana is a drug that is a greenish-gray mixture of dried, shredded leaves and flowers of Cannabis. People used marijuana by smoking it like a cigarette or from a pipe. Marijuana is harmful because you lose long term memories, coordination, and it messes up the respiratory system. Also marijuana will increase the risk of getting cancer, heart attack, and addiction. 
 Marijuana should not be legalized because of the harmful effects that can happen to someone. Also, marijuana can mess up someone's life just using marijuana. In fact, it will affect your school, your work, and your social life. The effect when using marijuana is impairs short-term …show more content…
If you used marijuana on a daily basis your memory and learning skills become mess up, can lead to addiction, and increase the risk of chronic cough, bronchitis, schizophrenia, and may increase the risk of depression, anxiety, and a motivational syndrome.
 If marijuana were to be legalized there would be chaos because where and how would marijuana be sold. Criminal would be stealing marijuana or be under the influences of marijuana when they do a crime and an increase of student would be under the influences to when they go to school which can mess up their learning habit. Also it is more likely to change their life greatly. That’s why marijuana should not be legalized.
 However I understand that medical marijuana should be legalized because it helps people relieve their pain but it may increase other pain in your body that can make you suffer more than you want also after the use marijuana wears off that pain comes back intensely. So the user may think that marijuana may not “work” so they get some other stronger drug to relieve their pain. Which makes it worse for the user to get more problems. Also the user needs to get a card that gives permission to them to get “medical marijuana”. However the user may get addicted before the pain is
