There are many drugs that are illegal and for good reasons. Many drugs became illegal because they can hurt or kill the person taking them. Drugs are dangerous not just to the people taking them, but to everyone around those people. Drugs cause people to be in a fog like state in which people cannot be trusted to make the right decisions. Marijuana is one drug that the government is thinking about legalizing. It may not seem as bad as other drugs, but it can still cause destruction and death. Marijuana should not be legalized because it’s dangerous, it will lead to more use and abuse of the drug, and it can lead to people taking other drugs that are much worse.

Marijuana legalization would hurt a lot of people. It would make drugs more readily available to youth. The legalization of marijuana would lead to more drug addicts too. The government should not legalize a substance that can mess with a person’s mind to where they cannot be trusted to make any kind of decisions.
