Imagine there is a plant that can grow almost anywhere in the world, literally has thousands of uses, and good for the environment, believe it or not such a plant exists, Hemp. Also known as, Cannabis Sativa, Marijuana, Grass, Mary Jane, and by many other names, has not been legal in the United States since 1937 when it was unjustly banned, for its relationship to marijuana (“hemp…”).
With that in mind, it’s true that Hemp and Marijuana are the same species, Cannabis Sativa, but hemp is a distant cousin to marijuana and has a minuscule amount of THC, the psychoactive compound that gives marijuana users a high(“Hemp…”).
