Marijuana is a mixture of dried, shredded leaves, stems, seeds, and flowers that are green, brown, or even grey in color coming from the Cannabis Sativa plant. Marijuana is usually smoked in hand-rolled cigarettes- often referred to a “joints”. Other times, people smoke marijuana in pipes, bongs, cigars, and blunts. Additionally, marijuana is often used to make teas and is mixed into foods.

Cesamet works by decreasing the amount of signals in the brain that tells the body to vomit and have nausea.
Smoking marijuana can cause people to be dependent on it- especially during withdrawal. The most common side effects of withdrawal include irritability, anxiety, and depression- however these side may fade away after approximately ten days. Harvard University conducted a study on 60 active marijuana smokers from the ages of 30 to 55 who had confirmed to smoking marijuana at least five times a week for about 11 years. During this study, 30 of the participants agreed to stop smoking for a 30 day period while the other half were used a controls. Vision and hearing may be impaired, and sleepiness and reddening of the eyes may occur. Within the first hour of smoking marijuana, your heart rate speeds and a heart attack may occur.
Marijuana also affects your memory and your ability to solve problems- which is
