The Peace in Cannabis Good evening fellow classmates, and teachers, what is the worst thing that may occur if marijuana is legalized? Alcohol is legal..., so what’s the big deal about marijuana being legal? I can assure you that marijuana is much more safe and helpful than most prescription drugs out there. We as a student body should be able to point out and recognize the dangerous and safe substances. Now I'm not saying that you should just smoke away, but reviewing this topic as a part of a whole nation, it just seems logical. Tell me people, how can a drug that have caused zero deaths, helps the sick and old be illegal, whereas addiction ridden drugs and alcohol cause thousands of deaths and overdoses but are legal to use!? What's so wrong about Marijuana? Is it that dangerous that people are jailed and fined huge sums of money for the possession of it?
