Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the active ingredient in mirajuana that is responsible for causing paranioa. An example of a situation which could be proven deadly, a person driving under the influence of marijuana, that person is prone to getting paranoid whilst driving as driving is a tough task as it involves risk and accidents it can happen at any given time. Besides that, the number of gangs have increased due to the fighting over territory to sell marijuana.As a result innocent The gang members are the people that are selling the marijuana on the streets and also have the tendency to lace marijuana with other hard drugs causing people to be addicted to the substance thus expanding their business.
Another reason the ban is approved by certain members of the community because of the influence it has on adolescence of the current generation. Marijuana is like alcohol in the aspect that it is easily accessible in many parts of the world. If adolescences were to consume marijuana, it will affect the development of their brains. This will lead to a long-term health issue, however, adults are safe from consuming it as their brain has been fully developed.
Furthermore, religion may contradict the legalization of marijuana in some religion such as Islam does not approve on the usage of marijuana. This may lead to social disagreements and cause riots if not handled in a proper manner. In Malaysia, this is a very important issue to be handled properly as the majority of the citizens comprises of Islam followers and we must protect and respect their rights in order to maintain a
