In the article Rough Justice by Alejandro Reyes “No matter how harsh your punishments, you’re not going to get an orderly society unless the culture is in favor of order.” It is important for people to take a stand on issues of justice in society. Three reasons it is important for people to stand on issues of justice in society is that people should stand up to change things that are wrong and turn them right, people represent others who can’t represent themselves, and people should be treated equally.

This is why people stand up for other people.
People should be treated equally. “It was we, the people not we, the white male citizen; not yet we, the male citizens;but we, the whole people who formed the union, and we formed it , not to give the blessings of liberty but to secure them; not to the half of ourselves and the half of our prosperity but to the whole people.” Susan B. Anthony’s quote represents that we as people are one as a union, family and government. It’s not only about one specific human being in this world it's about all of us. We as a family work together as one team not individually. This is why we should be treated equally.
