She always wore dresses with high heels and refused to participate in any activities during P.E. because she was afraid to sweat. She had light brown eyes and auburn hair that matched the weather. Caroline was the opposite of Sammy. Sammy didn’t know what to do about this, so Mariam told her just to ignore it (How). What else could she say considering Sammy was already in a doleful mood as is. Taking her advice, Sammy did that but Mariam’s advice proved to help no one.
