Mariah Carey is a famous music artist who was born on March 27, 1970 in Huntington, NY. She went to Harborfield High school. Mariah didn’t go to college because without a doubt she knew that she would become a singer. Carey starting singing at age two when her parents got a divorce and at age 3 she started to take singing lessons. The songs that she is most famous for is “Vision of Love” and “Touch my Body”.

Mariah had many nicknames that’s related to singing. For instance, songbird, MC, Mirage, Mimi and most of all The voice. The songs “Vision of love”, “Love takes time”, “someday” and “I don’t wanna Cry” led her to the grammy awards for best new female and best female vocalist in 1990. She is the only female artist in the U.S who had 7 albums
