The third character is Maria who is Jessica and Marco’s Aunt. In the scenario, Maria is exhibiting a Modern Western and a Christian Worldview. A Modern Western worldview is influenced by not only dualism but also Christianity (Shelly et al., 2006). Maria in the last two sentences in the scenario is pointing out to Jessica that there is a hard line between following God’s teaching (good) and doing what one wants (evil). A Christian worldview is centered around God’s teachings and that humans are God’s children because humankind was made in his image (Shelly et al., 2006).
