Margot Movie Vs Book

Decent Essays
The text and the movie are different but also have similarities. Some of the similarities may be that in the book as well as the video Margot was locked in a closet. It also rained for 7 - 9 years in both the text and video until the sun came out for 1 hour. In the video and in the text the characters used sun lamps because the sun never came out. A few differences may include that in the video the characters use sun kits instead of not using anything in the text. The children collected flowers in the video but just ran around in the book. Also Margot walks out into the rain and cries in the video but in the book she just looks down and stands. Those are the differences between the video and the text.

The other two members are Fezzik, a sympathetic giant who doesn’t want to be left alone, and Indigo, a revenge filled swordsman.…

Marie Antoinette Comparing and contrasting the movie about Marie Antoinette to the article we read in class, The article expressed more information about Marie Than the Movie which was embellished in some ways to show the audience more of what historians think life was like for a Princess during that time in history. Differences Between the book and movie are as follows Characters and costumes in the movie were highly expressive and over the top more so than in the article. The movie did not clearly depict Marie’s mother and the way she coldly traded away her daughters to make peace treaties. The Article covered much more of the plotline than the book, The movie ended before things got real bad, It ended before the necklace scandal and her…

In “The Landlady”, Billy Weaver is lured into a seemingly normal bed and breakfast by an old lady who, despite her gentle and unthreatening appearance, wants to kill him. It is a story about how those with cruel intent may take advantage of those who are innocent and naive. Although the book and the movie can be arguably similar if generalized, there are many differences that may change the way a reader/viewer may grasp the concept of the story. Since a movie and book cannot be exactly the same, the film version is bound to have things that differ from the text. One example of how the book develops the development of the story is with the setting.…
