Have these underground houses always been this beautiful? Margot thought to herself, as she observed the street lights outside with no people from her resting chair. She closes her eyes and imagines a place where she hears the ocean waves crash against rocks, she feels the cool breeze in her face and when she looks up she sees the sky aflame with the setting sun, shimmering magically. Margot noticed a group of 9-10-year-olds supervised by a teacher, remembering what had happened when she was 9. Margot hears her name in the distance, she turns and sees Mason, Lydia, and Noah calls her. She stops walking and waits for them to catch up to her, while her parents go ahead walking in the crowd. Margot greets them with a smile, and they all start to walk together in full of excited conversations. Margot then heard Noah say, “Remember the last time the sun came out! We were only 9-year-olds.” Noah instantly realizes what he has just done. The group quieted down with guilty faces looking at Margot. I forgave you guys already.” They look relieved, except Mason. Mason starts to say, “Are you sure you-” Margot interrupting him calmly, “Yes, now can we just get out and enjoy the sun out there?” They all

In “The Landlady,” Roald Dahl provides the typical, yet effective concepts of using unfamiliar surroundings, psychic abilities, and cyanide to create suspense for the reader. Dahl has Billy Weaver, a young 17 year-old, traveling alone and arriving in Bath, England, a city unfamiliar to him. While searching for a place to stay for the night, he passes numerous decaying streets. “But now, even in the darkness, he could see that the paint was peeling from the woodwork on their doors and windows, and that the handsome white façades were cracked and blotchy from neglect.” Billy describes these buildings in a way that makes them seem foreboding, and that feeling is increased by the fact that Billy is in completely new territory.…

Analysis on Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater The building that fascinates me all the time is Frank Lloyd Wright‘s Fallingwater, which has long been recognized as the milestone in the history of 20th-century Architecture. Commissioned in 1935 during the Great Depression by Edgar J.
