I've seen so many people ditch studying just to go to a party and when asked they always say the same thing, “everyone was going so why not ”. It's uncanny that Conformity has a romantic way of brainwashing people so they fall victim into an abyss that is the “status quo” which was developed by a certain population. What’s even more scary is that i can see myself doing the exact same thing. I grew up having wonderful parents and having a lot of common sense. In fact, i have so much common sense that people think im a genius when in reality, i was taught the basic rules of living which to me are: be nice and respectful, have a goal as well as dreams, fight for what you believe in and be your own person. I have this annoying “tragic” disability that made me stand out, it still follows me to this day and no, i was not born with it. Anyways, just like a normal teenager, i did not want to be different than anyone else. I was told i couldn't run or kick a ball but during the recovery stages after my surgery, the first thing i did was run... and kick a ball. I know, it sounds so stupid and childish but my best friends were doing so i just had to do as well.
