Marcus enrolled in Wilson high school; his life was difficult that affect his behavior in negative way.
First of all, Marcus childhood was disappointed since first accident that Unfortunately entered him to jail, his friend shoot himself mistaking by gun to protect themself from other, in this moment Marcuse was shocked so hi did not Escape; he stay with his friend until the police came at the location and Arrest him, he was oppressed but no one understand it was bad experience witch affected his behavior in the future.
After Releasing him, he got kicked out of his house by his mother for joining a gang, he was believed that joining this new life and having a gun give them the power and respect he was also love his family life especially his mom but it was out of hand.

Gruwell, despite the fact that she was white and whites have done lots of bad things to blacks at that time. Marcuse found difficult to fit with educational environment, But she was intelligent teacher she try her best to fit in each student mind and life and know their problem ,by patience, analyses their behavior , then deal with them in the seam thinking this is one of Theories of change by used several way to learn them.
She use one situation to attract the student, it was about Racism, Marcuse was made from his teacher when she spoke about black and Jews Holocaust and Racism and he feel that current life such as a war, therefore, Ms. Erin feel that they are interesting in this topic and this is a chance to provide them new a knowledge until she success to let them enjoy their class seams as a family by discussing a story related to their life.
Marcuse decide to return to his Mom to take care of her and Help her with honor and share her family life Stability. And he keep reading until he reach some of his goal like escort the story writer Ms. Miep Gies, she was proud of room 203 student so
