What is a hero? What makes a hero so special and why are they labeled as a hero.one man will forever go down in history as a hero a man who is strong, brave, determined one man who lost his family his friends his brothers in one day. Marcus Luttrell known as the lone survivor. Marcus luttrel is an American hero in so many ways not just for his service to his country in the united states navy but because of the work he does for the veterans who didn’t make it back in one peace.

Marcus luttrel joined the navy in 1999 and served until 2007 in 2005 he was a part of an operation know as red wings where him and three other navy seals where on a mission of surveillance(imdb.com) when they were ambushed by the Taliban and throughout the heavy
