Marcellus Harris: Mentor, Guidance Counselor, High School, City Councilman, and Associate Pastor at First Baptist Morrison Marcellus Harris currently holds multiple positions that induce him to be a mentor. He had recently been elected as a city councilman for the City of Newport News, Va. In addition, he is a guidance counselor at Denbigh High School. He also serves as an Elder in his church where he is a Reverend. Lastly, he has been a head coach at Denbigh High School for several years. Consequently, these positions allow him to encounter many people, that opens doors of mentorship.

For Marcellus, his style for his mentor relationship is produced through standard relationship, that induces him to become the mentor for them. He stated, he will begin mentor relationship from people that recognize him as a person of influence. His primary focus of mentorship is the youth. Moreover, George is a little more versatile with the people that he mentors. His mentor relationships could range from childhood to adulthood. His mentor relationships are typically initiated by the mentee. Although there are some differences to establish their mentor relationships, they are affected by what they do.
