Definition- the act of declaring a person guilty of an offense
Sentence-- At the court, the judge convicted the man guilty of manslaughter and theft. He is serving a lifetime sentence in jail now.

Definition- a striking or notable deed; a heroic act
Sentence-- The man’s exploit of saving children from getting killed in fire is now known across the world and has gained him great fame.

Definition- to move unsteadily; stumble
Sentence-- The man began to falter as he walked. He stumbled over rocks and tripped over sticks. You could tell he was becoming older. 13.Delirious
Definition- temporarily disordered mentally by fevers, intoxication...

Definition- to relieve from a charge of a fault or crime
Sentence-- The judge realised he didn’t commit the murder. He has been acquitted from his charges and is now free.

Definition- to rise, spring, or gush water
Sentence-- The man’s eyes began to well up, his mother had just died so he cried on his bed for a long
