Marco Rubio at 47 years of age is considered young for a political leader. Marco Rubio has accomplished many things in his short career as a politician. Currently Marco Rubio is the Senator of Florida, (Lindsay, 2015) and he has great potential to become the main candidate for the Republican Party. Marco Rubio’s views on several things such as common core, debt, foreign policy, taxes, education, military, and health care. Marco Rubio is seen as an important candidate in the Republican Party and many of Americans trust him.

The national debt is up to 18 trillion dollars which is 150,000 dollars per a household. Marco Rubio’s opinions on the national debt consist of restraining spending to save tax payers money. Marco Rubio has voted against many tax payer funded bills (Editors, 2015). Marco Rubio has multiple ideas to decrease the national debt and prevent it from growing. Many of his ideas include reduce the size of the federal workforce in Washington, stop taxpayer funding for abortions, prevent massive, irresponsible spending bills, and fight for a balanced budget amendment. In America one of the main problems in government is the money issue America uses way too much for things that are not always necessary, which has caused an extreme overload on the country’s debt. The first pillar is American strength and under this Marco Rubio plans to do three things. The first includes undoing the damage caused by sequation by returning to secretary gates year 2012 base line budget. The second part to the Rubio doctrine under the first pillar is to modernize the armed forces to keep them up to date on land, sea, and air. The last thing that Rubio plans to do in the first pillar of his doctrine is to empower the intelligence community by permanently extending section 215 of the Patriot act, which is the ability to access records and other items under FISA (editors, 2015). The second pillar of Marco Rubio’s planned doctrine is American prosperity which has two parts. The first section under this pillar is completing the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TTP) and the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). The last part to the American prosperity pillar is to oppose any violations of international waters, airspace, cyberspace, or outer space. The last pillar of the Rubio doctrine on the foreign policy is American values by first, demanding that China give true freedom to the 1.3 billion people who live there, and call the source of atrocities in the Middle East by its real name, Radical Islam (editors, 2015).
