Marc Newson is a 52 year old male Australian who has designed phenomenal projects that have impacted on society’s design. Newson was born in Sydney, his childhood father figure was his grandfather. He spent a lot of his childhood travelling. In 1984 he graduated from the Sydney College of Arts where he had been learning sculpture and jewellery. Over the years Newson has collected countless numbers of awards and was chosen as Time’s Magazine’s top 100 most influential people. One of Newsons most famous pieces is the Lockhead lounge or the Embryo chair, these are so well known that they can be auctioned for around $4,689,585.
