Why people wants to go to maquiladoras to work One of the study did a survey to find out why people accepts the job in maquiladoras and the benefits of working in maquiladora. To find the data, interviews were conducted, where maquiladoras workers were asked the questions about their work experience in maquiladoras and also the managers of maquiladoras were interviewed and asked why the people will choose maquiladoras. The duration of interview was 10 to 20 minutes. After interviewing all the workers the data collected concludes the following reasons of working in the maquiladoras.

The studies concluded that the most common response was the availability of maquiladoras jobs and these jobs had attracted many lower class workers in developing country. Thus, playing a significant role in the life of lower-income people by giving them opportunity to work and to help them run their families.

In conclusion, I will conclude that since maquiladoras import and export goods while eliminating duties and tariffs, the prices for the products are usually far lower than comparable products made here in the U.S. This is one of the reason for making the maquiladora popular. It is concluded that unemployment has greater rate in non-border regions in Mexico as compared to the border side where the rate is very low.
