Tool selection should be done as per desired area that should be measured. If we want to analyses the production flow VSM is best and effective tool, for operation process JIT will the best tool. Moreover it depends on the organizational structure. Appropriate tool should be used at the right time in the right place by understanding the lean system and learning the strategy for implementation of the lean. Different organizations have different strategies where strategy will depend on the working culture of the organization.
