William Golding’s Lord of The Flies tells the tale of tragedy, desperation, and manipulation. Golding introduces a group of british schoolboys whose plane was shot down over the pacific ocean and crash lands on an uninhabited island because the world is at war at this point in time. Besides the pilots everyone survive the crash which means there is a group of boys aged 6 to 12 on an uninhabited island with no adult supervision. They are left to govern and fend for themselves, surprisingly at the start it is pretty smooth. The boys decide to Make Ralph, one of the older boys, chief of the tribe until a few of the boys see The Beast while hunting.
