Mandatory Military Service In The United States

Although military service is very important to the United States, it should not be forced onto people. The military is something that keeps the US safe from any danger, but not everyone is meant to be in the military. The military is an amazing service, but it should be a choice that people get to make by themselves. First and foremost, the mandatory military service should not be allowed because it violates the free will people people have. The military is an astounding service, and it does great things for our country, but mandatory military service will rip the right to exercise free will from every single person in the United States. The military can not force itself onto people who are not fit to do it. In addition, the military is not meant for every single person in the world. Mandatory military service requires everyone to join the military, but not everybody is made to join the military. No matter what the issue may be, people can not just tell people that they have to be in the military. What if the person they tell has to join has PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and they fire a weapon and that person starts freaking out? They’ll have to send them home.
