Manchester: A Short Story

A 300 hundred pound man known as Manchester lead the sluggers to their only championship they'll ever win in history due to a devastating mystery of Manchesters death. For example, the people argued that is was the crazy brother Skidmore because he hated Manchester. Skidmore wore a treat coat that had a huge hood that covered his eyes. In fact, no one can remember the last time they saw Skidmore's eyes due to the hood covering them. His brother Manchester was a bubblegum tycoon that everyone loved. But, his brother Skidmore didn't like him at all. In addition, people argue that it's because Skidmore is deathly allergic to bubble gum. The night of the death of Manchester was the night where the sluggers were celebrating their championship. He took a bubble-gum type tycoon bite of the mystery concoction. His face turned purple and he fell over dead without any assistance from Skidmore to try and save him. The sluggers never won another championship because of the "curse of the poisoned pretzel". Skidmore was the main target obviously for his brothers death because he provided the food and hated his brother. But, Skidmore isn't the only one to blame though due to Manchester's size he could of died from a heart attack because he was really excited he won the championship. According to the celebration Manchester was full with happiness and skidmore wasn’t. Skidmore's hatred toward his brother put a different opinion on the people. They said the pretzel was poisoned but too this day they don't know if it was poisoned.
