I scored a ninety-three (93) on the Management Skills Self-Assessment Quiz. When I completed this quiz, thirty-eight percent (38%) of the class had scored in the range of seventy-four to one hundred (74 -100). This score indicates I’m doing a great job in managing my team and developing improvement goals could further improve my skills.
My lowest score was in Managing Discipline and Dealing with Conflict. This was not surprising to me because I’ve had to deal with a lot of team conflict. The majority of the conflict was caused by not having the right persons on the team. In my previous organization, senior management selected the team members. I think they tried hard to select a diverse team but failed to match the knowledge, skills,
