Geraldine Barney Garrett finds herself concerned with several areas of choosing a candidate due to ideas and values she does not herself agree with. The idea of updating the technology in the laboratory is a dynamic approach, keeping up with modern society, competitors and always putting the best foot forward, on the other hand will also cost money. Secondly, Geraldine Barney Garrett concerns involve keeping youthful personnel employed within the company as they often look for better opportunities and advancement that R&D department of Biotech Health and Life Products do not provide. To keep more youthful personnel and team members at Biotech, utilizing the dynamic approach yet again is superior. The dynamic engagement concept allows for managers to fulfill the employee’s needs emotionally by maintaining strong leadership but also focusing on their input and needs. Thirdly, a concern Geraldine Barnet Garrett holds for the R&D department of Biotech Health and Life

Order maintains itself as a vast majority of Henry Fayol’s management theories and Geraldine Barney Garrett relies heavily on upholding control and order within her team. Only allowing each member to take initiative for themselves and inputting ideas but ultimately only following her own way and gut feeling. Never handing over the ability to control the team to the team members of the R&D department of Biotech Health and Life Products remains a prideful self-celebration for Geraldine Barney Garrett. Conversely, solid guidance holds weight in the dynamic approach as well by promoting communication with not only the team within the company but others outside of the company also. Lastly, the fourth concern consists of the leader inspiring innovative concepts with the team.
