This was my first experience in a leadership roll, at least on a professional level. The SGA has not always had the best reputation campus wide but it opened the doors to me becoming a leader and pushed my to become someone who could be capable of being someone that others could look up to. I was attended quite a few conferences, which were based on leadership in a college and real world setting. I was even chosen to attend a conference at Texas A & M because those on the executive board at the time saw the potential in me and decided to invest in the potential leader that they knew I could become if I just had a little help. This was the beginning of my professional leadership path.
Now lets jump into my first real leadership experience. When I say jump I mean literally. I declared my major as Journalism and Public Relations and decided to get evolved with the Public Relations Student Society of America, Edinboro chapter on campus. I went in that first meeting and they expressed their need for a treasurer. By the next morning I had taken the seat on the executive bored.
