According to (CDC.gov, 2015), in the united states all enduring diseases and disorders and the health risk behaviors that cause them account for most health care expenses. It has becomes a main priority for (PCP) and gatekeeper to focus on treating patients timely as possible for such life-staggering diseases. A staggering statistic from (CDC.gov, 2015) states, eighty-six percent of all health care expenditures in 2010 was for people with one or more lingering medical conditions. There are some medical issues that pertain to health care plans, coverage, and physicians. Doctor scarcities are one area of concern since there aren’t nearly enough of us to care for the U.S. population, (Gupta, 2015). Dr. Sanjay Gupta explains well in his article of the crucial issues surrounding health care and more needs to done to have more doctors and supplies at hand. The longer wait times and appointments is a constant issue and hiring more physicians should curb this issue. Online healthcare technology is one aspect which can save time and cost at facilities for patients who receive most care at home. More patients throughout the years are learning to do their own online healthcare and while it’s challenging for older adults, they can still receive help from their physician throughout the process.
