"The Man in the Water" by Roger Rosenblatt is a true story about heroism and how an ordinary man can become a hero in just seconds. The plane was about to take off and sitting on it was just a normal man who had a gut feeling it wasn't a normal day but decided to relax anyway. It wasn't much longer, though, that the plane started to fall and into one of the busiest bridges in Washington, D.C. it crashed. This devastating crash caused people to become out of control and put all flights to a standstill. There was a police helicopter team sent out to save the people from the plane which landed in the water. Each time though, they sent down the ladder the normal man from the plane or "The Man in the Water" passed it to someone else to save them
