Mammoth Mountain Research Paper

Mammoth Mountain is a great place to relax and a strenuous place to reach but you can have a little fun too, but if you can’t roll with the punches it can be exhausting if you’re new to snowboarding. Mammoth has copious amount of activities for people of all skill levels and age groups, like kids ski club for the little ones. All the way up to double black diamond slopes for pros. There are also bars, cafes, a small museum of sorts, and shops for people who like to shop on their vacation. The whole trip was a little exhausting; still it’s an experience I wouldn’t exchange for a mountain of gold. The day started like any other, wake up before the sun hits our cozy apartment. Travis, Daniel and I began packing prior to bolting for school, we pondered driving to school but the radio advised against it. After class let out we had to prepare for the long journey: we needed chains that took entirely too long, from putting them on for the first time, to having to take them off and putting them back on, replacing them when they snapped, trying to get the car out of the snow, and attaching the new ones that didn’t fit wasting even more time. The whole place has 27 different ski lifts, only one that actually goes to the upper most peak, and a number of different lodges, which can make the campaign confusing. The village which has a gondola up the mountain has a Starbucks, a not so warm fire place with some great eateries like the 53 diner and Gomez’s restaurant, not to mention the abundant shopping locations, like the Alpine Approach, Busy Bee’s General, and The Shirt off my Back store.
