The organization Feeding America San Diego provides nutrition help to all individuals and families but mostly to the kids across San Diego. At one point of her life she became disabled and searched for the resources to get help. FASD reached her when she needed help and she was able to get back on her feet because of that. Now, she is returning the favor and working for FASD to help other people who need help by delivering food to their homes. She says “I know how it feels like to be on the other side and it makes me happy to help”. What she and FASD try to do is to create a fair society in which food access is ensured for people who are at risk of hunger but of course it is impossible for them to reach each and every person who do not have food access. The citizens of the USA should have a right to food access and food access should be ensured for all people. However some social problems such as equal food access are embedded in social setting and it has to be deconstructed and rebuilt by institutional dynamics. Focus should be to make positive change and to make a real difference in people’s lives when rebuilding the broken system so everybody can have equal access to
